Responding to market demands that want a new release for the Nintendo Switch console, Nintendo has finally officially announced the latest version that comes with a 7-inch OLED screen. Even though it doesn’t come with upgraded specifications or Joy-Con optimizations, it must be admitted that the Nintendo Switch OLED is still quite attractive, especially for prospective new owners, because now they can play games with wider viewing angles and the best color depth.
In accordance with a predetermined schedule, Nintendo is already planning to market its console in October. Especially for the Southeast Asia region, we have received information that the console is ready to be marketed starting on October 8th. For now, we only get price information from three countries, namely Singapore at SGD 549, Malaysia at MYR 1,699, and the Philippines at PHP 19,999. We will provide further updates if there is new information, but if it is roughly converted the console should be priced at IDR 5-million.
In addition to the OLED screen, other changes from this model are also located in the wider and freely adjustable stand, LAN port on the console dock, 64 GB of internal storage, and superior audio quality from the built-in speakers. The following are the specifications for the system:
- Play Mode: TV Mode, Tabletop Mode, Handheld Mode
- Compatible Game: Semua game Nintendo Switch
- Joy-Con: Kontroler Joy-Con (HD Rumble & IR Motion Camera)
- Dock: Includes dock and HDMI cable (there is a built-in LAN port)
- Dimensions: 4” Height, 9.5” Length, and .55” Thickness (using Joy-Con)
- Layar: 7.0 ″ OLED
